This is one of a series of 13 images created for Seagate's 1996 data sheets. I started with a series of differently-lit shots digital shots (photos by Thomas Burke--see Before photo). Two more of these photos are seen below. Then we combined these images in a multi-layered file, adding color and various effects. Each original contributed different highlights, shadows, or detail.
